First of all, I want to wish everyone a happy new year who is following my simulator project from all over the globe!
It is now one month after Christmas and I still haven’t made much of a progress on the hardware side of the simulator. During the Christmas holiday I have been a few days of, so I only had one day to work on my simulator during this vacation. I also recently had a MOK exam at school where I needed to revise for. So there was not that much time left to work on my simulator’s hardware, but the time I had, I used to figure out all the software technical side of the simulator. As you may have seen on my earlier post, I had some trouble with SIOC and ProSim.
After the new update of ProSim737, the software kept turning off in windows after start-up. I tried to run it in administrator mode, but that didn’t solve the problem. I had to ask you guys if you knew how to solve the problem, and with Espen’s help I have solved the problem now. The only thing I needed to to is update windows .Net and I was good to go agian.
With that sorted out I could focus on the SIOC problem. The problem I have had is that SIOC wouldn’t open SIOC Monitor, and it kept on giving me an error telling me that the script was not loaded. So I couldn’t figure out myself in the first place so I contacted their customer service and they helped me out with the problem in the first place. But I am still having problems. And instead of explaning you this by writing I thought why shouldn’t I just record a clip explaning you guys what the problem is. So please take a moment and watch the video and share your opinion. All help will be much appreciated!
Sorry for the bad quality of the video and my English, I recorded it from my phone.
